How the 1960s shaped the personal computer

Coming on April 25: What the Dormouse Said: How the 60s Counterculture Shaped the Personal Computer, by John Markoff. Now of the New York Times, Markoff and I were in adjoining cubicles in 1981 at InfoWorld. We shared a single NorthStar computer with two monitors and a switch box, so only one of us could be using the NorthStar at a time. Markoff is the perfect writer for this book.
