Linux vs. Windows: Portland vs. Seattle?
If the Seattle area is synonymous with Microsoft Windows, could Porland, Oregon become identified with Linux? This Willamette Week story explains how it could happen.

Well I'm hoping to make MicroSoft somewhat less
synonymous with Seattle. www.waossa.org
For our first presentation we hope to have
Ryan Singer, from OpenOffice.org give a
presentation to the business community in Seattle
on OpenOffice versus Microsoft Office.
I can just see Gates and Balmer throwing tantrums.
Funny how Google has moved next door and is stealing
their employees.
