The Army's Warrior in Transition command is rolling out cell-phone based health care messaging with HIPAA-compliant security.
The Army will analyze answers to questions sent to patients to trend data over time, and relate data to life events to help hand off patients when they move from one health care provider team to another. Speaking at the CES Digital Health Summit, Col. Ron Poropatich, MD hopes to launch this study next month.
